It's way - past, time, for every Americans, who cherishes all the freedoms, and liberties, which are guaranteed by our Constitution, and we have become accustomed to, to wake up, and FIGHT for these principles, or risk, losing them, both, in the short - term, as well as in the longer - run! If you believe, as so many others do, today, you are observing abnormal, unusual actions, behavior, and conduct, from the government of the administration of President Donald Trump, you must, proactively, do something about it, before it's too late! Some may think, this is being, overly, dramatic, but the policies, and rhetoric, regarding immigrants, human rights, civil and women's rights, and our relationships with our long - standing allies, and enemies, is certainly, unusual! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and represents, and why it matters, so much.
1. Freedom/ freedoms; future; furnish; fruition; fairness: What does this nation represent, and stand for, if we aren't strong, in our demands, for our freedoms, liberties, and justice, for all? Isn't fairness, a core/ central component, of our perceived way of life? From the tax legislation, which clearly favored the elite (top 1%), and the major corporations, and did little, of positive consequence, for many others, to the constant lies and misstatements, vitriol, empty promises and rhetoric, it doesn't seem right! Don't we need to focus on a quality future, and sustainability, in terms of environmental issues, such as clean air and water, and the American Way, and need leadership, which will furnish viable solutions, instead of resorting to blaming and complaining? Instead of empty statements, we need someone, with a well - considered plan, to bring, what's needed, necessary, and best, to fruition!
2. Integrity; ideals; ideas; imagination: Our public officials must exhibit absolute integrity, which emphasizes America ideals, in terms of how we treat others, etc! When President Trump, instead of introducing well - considered ideas, and/ or, strategic and action plans, seeks to bring us back, to what he perceives as our cherished past. and lacks necessary imagination, which is relevant and sustainable, the United States suffers!
3. Generate goodwill; greatness: Now, perhaps more than ever before, we need someone, to bring us, together, for the common good, avoiding partisan politics, and seeking a meaningful meeting, of the minds! Only then, will we achieve the greatness, most of us desire!
4. Humane; healing; head/ heart: When the present occupant of the White House, nearly on a daily basis, articulates, what appears to be, a message of division, xenophobia, and anger, instead of being humane, empathetic and caring, it does little towards healing the divisions! One must use, both, quality logic, and a positive, emotional appeal, in a head/ heart balance, if we will restore the nation, to our core principles, and ideals!
5. Time - tested; timely: When solutions and approaches, use time - tested, well - considered focuses, and our public officials, address challenges, in a timely manner, the nation, and our citizens, benefit!
Wake up, America, and be willing to FIGHT for our core principles, freedoms, and ideals! It's up, to each of us!
